"Genesis Survivor Gaiarth" is a 3-part OAV released in 1992.
A huge war destroyed all forms of order on planet Gaiarth. After a hundred years, the descendants of the survivors are just beginning to establish small cities. Now the General, a half man, half machine survivor of the original war, seeks to gain total control of the planet by force. The only obstacle in his way is a small band of heroes; Ital, a young man raised by a war machine; Sahari, a “Junk Hunter” scavenger who lives off the remnants of the old war; and Zaxon, a War machine whose memory is gone but who is plagued with visions of his past.
"Gaiarth" is derivative of many anime and sci-fi, yet highly enjoyable. The only thing I didn’t like about it was the spell chanting robots. It was fairly violent, but the violence was more action than gore.
